It’s been three weeks since India has repealed Article 370 from the Constitution of India, which grants special status to the restive state of Jammu & Kashmir. Now Pakistan is like the little Sardar kid from blockbuster movie Kuch Kuch Hota Hai who only counts the stars in the film (I guess he is still counting the stars) and in the end speaks to Kajol, “Tusi Ja rahe ho na Jao” that’s exactly what Pakistan must be feeling right now. This reminds me of the climax scene from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai where Salman Khan grabs Kajol’s hand taking her to the mandap to Shahrukh saying “haath pakad ke le jaaunga kaha tha na maine” with whom she was meant to be. In this case our Prime Minister Mr. Modi plays the role of Salman taking Kajol (Kashmir) to Shahrukh (India) where it was always meant to be. He made us realize that India loves Kashmir and so do Kashmir. With Kashmir, we are one stronger nation.
While we Indians literally have taken the line “How’s the josh?” from movie Uri onto a different level, it’s reported that Bollywood producers are registering film titles on Kashmir and issues related to it. Over 50 titles have been registered so far according to film magazine editor Atul Mohan. Directors are keen on nationalist titles including Article 370 Abolished, Kashmir Mein Tiranga (Kashmir in Tricolor), Kashmir Hamara Hai (Kashmir is Ours) etc. correct hai boss hum sirf Kashmir nahi lenge Hum Kashmir se related sab lenge Jahan bhi Hum Kashmir dekhenge Woh Hum Le lenge Jaise Dilwale Dulhania Le Jaayenge.
Well, we have lost a lot and it’s high time we go back to the valley and recreate the song from Bemisaal;
Now is the time when all Indians need to join hands and embrace the people of the valley. Let us take a pledge that we won’t let it die all the pinkness that was lost has to be exhumed. She is the beautiful piece of art created by God who repeatedly reminding us the beauty of Kashmir from Kashmir Ki Kali:
