SHWETA ROHIRA’S PLAY, THAT’S MY GIRL HAS A ROCKING PREMIERE

Actor Shweta Rohira’s theatre debut seems to have been a hit. The actor’s play titled That’s my Girl premiered at the Bal Gandharv Rang Mandir at Bandra recently and was a big hit.

“I was so nervous as this was my first attempt at theatre. I am so glad that it went off well! I am so happy that people loved my performance and the play,” she says.

The play has been directed by Bharat Dabolkar and also stars Anant Mahadevan and Ananya Dutta. It is produced by Mohan Azad.

“The play is a success because of our amazing director Bharat Dabolkar and producer Mohan Azad. I also bonded with my co-actors, Anant Sir gave me lot of tip’s and made me very comfortable and made me fall in love with the stage. It was an amazing experience,” she says.

The actor was joined by her close friend Elli Avram, Javed Jaffery, Gautam Rode, Pankhuri Awasthy, Tannaz Irani,Vahbiz Dorabajee, Pankit Thakkar, Kunal Verma, Pooja Bannerjee, Puneet Issar as well as her mother Kaajal Rohira.

 

“I have really enjoyed being part of this play. I really want to be part of more plays, let’s see what is in store for me.  But if something interesting comes up, I will defiantly take it up,” says Shweta.
